因为Add-math里面的Numbers很多时候不能被精确表示,比如:无穷小数的π和surd,所以学生需要了解什么是Real number。
Add-math Paper 1需要在没有计算器的情况下完成,因此学生必须掌握Negative和Positive numbers的加、减、乘、除运算,这是基本功。
许多学生在Year 7- Year 9过于依赖计算机,因此掌握数字运算法,比如:理解负数相加等于负数等概念至关重要。
Algebraic Manipulation(代数运用)
了解Expanding brackets的运算,学会如何化简两个括号内的公式,也需学习将小学的长乘法(直式乘法)套入代数乘法。
